Recommended intake and use: 1 scoop (included in the jar) of powder per day dissolved in a glass of water, juice or can be mixed in your favourite choice of beverage. The recommended daily intake should not be exceeded.

Folate, also known as folic acid or vitamin B9, is an important water-soluble B vitamin that plays a role in many different ways for health. The vitamin helps with cell division and helps to create new cells by copying and creating DNA. It also helps the body to use vitamin B12 (cobalamin) as well as certain amino acids.

A folate deficiency can have serious consequences, including fatigue, painful cold sores, and also an increased risk of birth defects such as heart problems, spina bifida and anencephaly (malformation with lack of cerebrum).

Acerola cherry extract is a substance extracted from acerola cherries. Acerola cherry extract powder is rich in vitamin C. Acerola cherry is the fruit that contains the most vitamin C in the world.
